Don't let the generic company name fool you. When you hire 3rd Planet Photography,
you get Scott himself. Scott takes pride in his work and works hard to ensure you get the product
you expect. Many times you've heard of someone hiring a photographer only to find out on their special day that
the photographer doesn't arrive to shoot their photographs. The photographer has sent an assistant
in his/her name. Maybe the photographer has grown beyond their capacity. This will not happen to you at
3rd Planet Photography. Scott will be there with camera in hand to shoot your special day, no matter
what your special day may be.
Don't fall victim to cheap wedding photographers who advertise hard to believe wedding packages. It truly is
"you get what you pay for". Don't let your most memorable day be ruined by someone with a camera. Your special
day deserves the true touch of an artist. Anyone can purchase a camera and take pictures, but it takes a
professional photographer, an artist of the camera and light to produce a photographic piece of art.

| Who is 3rd Planet Photography |
It all started in 1984 in Texas. Scott Durrett (Owner and Photographer), received an
SLR camera package for Christmas when he was 12 years old. Scott spent countless hours playing
and learning the camera and his own techniques. Within a few years he was photographing small
weddings and was hired by the local newspaper to shoot the Friday night high school football
games. Scott also worked with the school to shoot photographs for the school annual yearbook.
By mid high school Scott was working in the dark rooms for a local lab and learned all the
post processing required to create photographs that last a lifetime.
From the time Scott joined the United States Air Force he stopped working with the labs and
wasn't able to shoot any events, however, never put the camera down. In 2003 Scott decided
to venture back into the world of photography only to find that the new digital age had
changed photography from every aspect. Scott was able to harness the new digital age and
embark on a new adventure that would allow him to create amazing artistic memories from the
new digital cameras era and give him the ability to create endless possibilities.
Today Scott loves photography. He decided to create a company and call it 3rd Planet Photography.
Some have asked, "why the name", and the only answer is because it's unique.
